The walk starts at Edirnekapi, the grand gate of ancient Constantinople, continues along the Walls of Theodosius (most impressive part of the city walls) to Ayvansaray, and on to Balat and Fener neighborhoods.
You will walk through time-passed residential neighborhoods (home to a significant Roma population today) within city walls, and witness the permanent traces of Istanbul's ethnic diversity.
Tour ends by Fener Patriarchate, still the seat of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch, the first among equals.
