The tour is designed to provide an understanding of the evolution of Ottoman architecture. By bridging the early and imperial periods, city of Edirne, the second capital city of the Ottomans, is home of the monuments that reflect this transition. The trio of mosques, Üç Şerefeli Cami, Eski Cami and the Beyazıd Complex are stunning and matchless examples of the 15th century. The epitome is the Selimiye Mosque, the greatest masterpiece of the Ottoman architecture, catapulted its architect Sinan to the recognition of masters such as Michalangelo, Da Vinci and Raphael. With its gigantic dome and sophistication, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your day starts with pick up at your hotel at 7am, concluding around 7pm.

- A second day extension will provide greater opportunity to enjoy the regional cuisine, stroll around the illuminated historic sites, bustling local life, and include historic bridges on Meriç and Tunca rivers and Ottoman-era caravanserais.
